Data Deletion

How to remove data you added to Storio.

Delete local data

Storio is local-first. You can delete assets, documents, images, events, reminders, locations and other ownership data directly in the app. You can also remove the app from your device to remove local app data from that device.

Export before deleting

If you want to keep a copy, export a backup before deleting app data. Backup files may contain your asset information, documents and images, so store them safely.

Disconnect private sync

Pairing and automatic private sync are prepared as Storio Plus features. If private sync is enabled, open Storio settings and disconnect devices or use the disconnect-all option. This removes the local sync connection and requests removal of related encrypted relay data where available.

Support and deletion requests

Storio currently does not require a public website account for normal use. If you need help deleting support-related information or encrypted sync relay data, email info@my-storio.com. Include only the information needed to identify your request. Do not send private documents or sensitive asset details unless support specifically asks for them.

What may be retained

Some limited records may be retained where required for legal, security, accounting, app-store purchase or abuse-prevention reasons. If app-store purchases are enabled later, subscription and purchase records may also be retained by the app store according to its own rules.
